Sunday Bink.nu newsposter "Black Digital" posted a link to a MSDN document where Longhorn Server was referrenced as Windows Server 2007. Today Microsoft replaced this to Windows Server "Longhorn" (code name). So I assume marketing was not happy with it. Also I think it will end up as Windows Server 2008, because it is released in the 2nd half of 2007. This rule didnt always apply, check with SQL server 2005, that was released in November 2005, but that was caused by a late delay when the SQL 2005 marketing machine was running for quite some time. Also Windows Server 2007 might be confused with "Windows Seven" a rumoured name for the next version of Windows.

Others have also since been removed from Microsoft pages.
