American OEM distributor TechData is charging $161 which is the wholesale price for 1 copy of Windows Home Server. They are also offering a 5% discount on a purchase of 5 or more copies. Although they are taking orders, stock is not expected till the end of October and it looks like they are only expecting 50 copies and these are still on backorder.

TechData is always way too expensive. It's sold by other Distributors for less than $130/€105 in Old Europe.
I think this is a great price for WHS, The fact it's under $200 and in some places under $150 is a smart move on MSs part.
Now to just get the extra hardware needed for a beefy HS rig.
