What’s new in Windows Server 8 beta File Services
My previous post was on new features in Hyper-V 3.0, but what else has been added in Windows Server beta since the developer preview:
Dynamic Access Control gives your organization a more granular, more flexible data access control.
New in the Beta is the support for modeling the effective access to a file/folder
- Support for multiple central access auditing policies
- Improvements to the automatic classification mechanisms for file servers to allow administrators to easily customize automatic classification
- Enhancement to Access Denied Remediation to support any file type launched from explorer
