Everyone can remember the day Bill Gates got pie in his face in Belgium... Now Steve joined in on the action too.

Whilst Ballmer was speaking at an university in Hungary, a student(?) stood up and shouted "Give back the money of the taxpayers" to Ballmer, who was giving a friendly speech.
Shortly after he interrupted the session, he started to throw eggs at Ballmer...

Clearly by looking at the shirt the thrower was wearing he isn't pro-Microsoft at all by stating "Microsoft = Corruption".
It's a shame such a, to must students, very interesting lecture from one of the best tech CEOs in the world get interrupted by this.

Luckily he didn't practice his pitch and didn't hit Ballmer. Gates was less lucky few years back..

No, it's not too bad he missed.  It's too bad he's an ignorant fool who never learned to be civil with someone he disagrees with.

Give back the taxpayers money?  Does MS collect tax money in Hungary?

He probably referred to a tender of 25 billion HUF (~160.05 million USD) for providing software to administration and education. In recent years, Microsoft has always won these tenders, which drew anger from open source/free software proponents, who feel that it's a waste of money when there are free alternatives. The result of the last tender was attacked, and going to be on court yesterday, but was delayed, maybe because of Ballmer's visit.

Yeah, but they also seem to forget that using "free" alternatives also have a cost of their own.
