Even more free online storagePeople are taking more photos than ever—50 billion in 2007—we figured you could use a little more storage space. How much? You told us you liked the last fivefold increase, so we're doing it again, bringing the grand total to 25 GB of free online storage. I love the sound of the changes you made but I have to repeat the concerns of others about the confusion over Mesh/Skydrive/Spaces/FolderShare/Office Live/Favorites.
I understand that Mesh is a Software+Service platform but the features you have introduced seem to blur the differences between them even more.
The integration of Favorites is a good one as I don't use the http://favorites.live.com/ site as much as I should but that would have made more sense to go on mesh because then it would be sync'ed with my mobile device and other PCs too.
I also have photo's on my Space, Skydrive and Mesh due to using each new service as it appeared, shouldn't it be the same pool of photo's visible through all of them? That would save space on your data centres, meaning you could offer higher capacity to the users. Mind you, despite all those options, when I want to show people my photo's publicly I tend to stick an album on Facebook as you can tag people and they are notified about it (surely this could be done with new WLPG tagging and contact lists?!?). It would be great if there was a facebook app that accepts an RSS feed to display your skydrive photos in a cool slideshow.
Finally, with the Wave 3 version of WLPG I would have expected to see a Skydrive option on the publish button.
