So I can switch between "Royal Blue" aka "Energy Blue" and "Royal Noir" aka "Zune" again, although they should have kept the black Start-Button.

@Sledge:
While this isnt a s supported installation method by Microsoft, you can extract the theme from the installer or from the temp directly and just apply it to the C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes folder just like you had to do before Royale was 'officially' released for XP.

@DerHesse:
I agree, I've grown fond of the black Start button from Royale Noir.

The theme seems bugged bacuse when you select an icon in the desktop or in explorer, the text is unreadable bacause text selection is black and the background is blue[:'(]

Please fix the theme!!!

bear luke i think you can change that through the advanced appearance panel in display properties. i also changed the colour of the active and unactive windows to make them a little easier to identify.

and the installation is also bugged because the shellstyle.dll is put in a wrong location. I hope the Zune.net will release a fixed version.

bear_luke is correct, the shellstyle.dll should be placed in: C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Zune\Shell\NormalColor

However, when you do, you get orange coloring in the Explorer
bands.  I almost prefer to have in it the wrong place... actually, I went back to the Royale Noir Visual Style since I wasn't crazy about the orange start button.  I don't think the black one stands out enough in its inactive mode, but overall I think it works better.

Zune is definitely HOT. Anyone knows where to get more themes with quality like Zune? I only chanced upon this site from wordpress (a weblog site). Thank you. (:

I love the orange. A bit of a change from the blue green and gray-green. Now I have a red wallpaper (not a fan of red, but a got sick of blues) and it looks great with this orange-gray theme.

I have no issues with the orange Start button, but why doesn't the "All Programs" sub-menu follow the theme??  Mine's all white, which looks horrible when the rest is all grey and black [:(]  Anyone know if there's a way to change the theme to make the All Programs sub-menu the same shade of grey as the rest??
