Many Windows Vista Beta 1 testers were shocked to find out that their brand new and expensive nVidia GeForce 6-series and 7-series cards were not supported under the new LDDM driver model (and thus not getting all the cool window effects and glass).

With a tip from Neobond (from Neowin), I'm glad to announce that nVidia has put up LDDM drivers supporting the latest and greatest nVidia cards!

I installed this earlier (for an FX5200) and whilst it gave me Glass the screen resizing didn't work properly. When increasing the res the desktop expanded off screen by the right amount but everything staying the same physical size on screen [:'(]

Looks like I'll have to settle for no Glass until the next drivers appear

Hello I have only Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440 video card, and I've installed Vista yesterday. Shouldn't I dream about viewing the special effects with it?
