LonghornBlogs: Well, the big to-do for the day has been Vista pricing. Apparently Microsoft Canada's not the only company that's going to have someone fired today. Amazon.com has all prices online for pre-order. They've also listed a launch date, which apparently is January 30th, 2007.

I've broken it down a bit to make it easier to understand.

Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't quote whether they are x32 or x64 editions...

I somehow doubt that Microsoft will charge different prices, but I would like to know how Amazon & Microsoft are going to explain the difference between the two versions to normal consumers.

I read some months ago that every box on every version will include 2 dvds, 1 with x32 and the other x64 version.

So no need to specify it on the SKU [:)]

but... it is too EXPEEENSIVE!!

Here in Chile, Latin America will be even MORE money!

[:'(] Microsoft should think about the young technology enthusiast, like me, I'm 15 and I go to school everyday and $400 for a dvd.. I just can't afford it [:'(]
