Bryan Lee, corporate vice president at Microsoft's entertainment and devices division, also played a key role in shaping the Xbox game console business and the introduction of its Internet Protocol television software.
Lee is a key deputy of Robbie Bach, head of Microsoft's entertainment and device division. J Allard, a rising star within Microsoft and one of the early Xbox leaders, will now take full responsibility for the Zune business.
Lee plans to leave the company in the next several weeks to pursue personal interests, Microsoft said.
Didn't J make most of the decisions anyways?
He's just one of many in the devision, looking at how massive MS is in total.
Anyways, I think they need to cut down on all the damn VPs/managers and so forth, too much managment, and that's why things take long to happen now.
Start streamlining the whole system I say.
J was the one in the seperate office with complete creative control over the product. I really have no idea who Bryan is though, upper paycheck-signing management..? I can't imagin how they manage to manage all the management.
I just hope J doesn't loose some limbs in a snowboarding accident or something.
