Not only does this create ugly collages (IMO) but it is only a trial. Since when do Microsoft Research charge for products?

Why would I pay £19.90 for something I can do better and for free in Google's Picasa?

IMO AutoCollage does a better Collage than Picasa. It also has face recognition that will make those photos not to be hidden in final  collage.

May be in future it may be made free or even be included with WLPhoto Gallery, thats' my wish.

£20?

If I'm going to pay £20 for such a one-tricky pony, then I want Billg to take the photos for me and save me the effort. And he can make me a cup of tea as well.

I am very impressed with autocollage. It does what it says and does it extremely well. I have printed out 8 x 10s of some collages and framed them and everyone who has seen them is very impressed.

Well worth the cost.
