Why on earth is the service pack plastered all over the website, before it is available to download?
Because I dont have the time to monitor the web all day, I do have a day job.
I think dguillaume meant plastered all over Microsoft's site. We all know how busy you are (and most of us can unfortunately relate all too well), and appreciate your efforts!

Sorry, the link takes you to a page which would make you think you can download, however when you click the download link, it get nothing.
I meant Microsoft not you, the link seems to be working sporadically, but it still won't download

Wouldn't this be pushed out over Windows Update/Automatic Updates also?
The first link worked for me, downloading SP1 right now - 218MB.
