As part of Microsoft's latest reorganization, the company decided to eliminate the position of top speaker Steve Riley and end his deployment with Microsoft.

As a frequent visitor of Microsoft's conferences I have always enjoyed Steve's sessions and I am sure we will hear from him again sometime soon.

They did WHAT???? Man, Steve is the man you plan your IT Forum around! One of the best presenters Microsoft has to offer! Well it's Microsofts loss, and I am 200% confident Steve will do well regardless of their decision.

Steve all the best and hope to see you do your magic soon.

Kind regards,

Kees de Vos,

The Netherlands.

This is a ridiculus decission indeed.

I attended Steve's session at every TechEd/IT Forum I visited and had the change to talk and discus security with him. These events will never be the same without him.

There is hope though: Jesper Johanson left MS a few years ago, he still occasionally is a speaker at these events...
