Several sources close to Microsoft confirm rumors that Microsoft CIO was fired for sexual harassment, also this valleywag.com has comments that he had a relationship with his VP, when you read the comments, it seems the CIO promoted her very quickly last year which "raised a few eyebrowes". Another comment is "A busy CIO with his hands full. Heard he had affairs with his Business Manager, his Admins, harassed a few others along the way"

More here: http://valleywag.com/tech/rumormonger/microsoft-cio-underling-took-family-leave-before-firing-319672.php

From the Microsoft Presspass website: "Stuart L. Scott (Former) Corporate Vice President and CIO"

"Scott lives with his wife and seven children in Washington. He spends his free time with his family, coaching sports teams, leading youth groups, and playing golf."

So now we're taking comments from a rumor site (the same rumor site that said Vista SP1 was due in 2009) and posting it as news?

I totally agree with Flint2 ... please consider the impact of such rumors on the family, especially for the seven childrens.

I wonder if the chick he was banging still kept her job (or even if she was qualified to hold that position(s) in the first place).

You can bet that there now will be a lot of co-workers who think much less of this chick than before she had ratted-our her "side-hobby"...and good luck to her escalating through the company any higher than shes already at - or even for that matter, finding a new job in the same field.

I also think her name should also be made public - no sense in dragging just one of these "lovers" through the mud, when both were at fault here.

Do report his departure, but do not report the rumours. Reporting rumours about relationships isn’t what Bink should be about ...

I have to agree.  News is news... but reporting rumors belongs to The Enquirer or other tabloids, and not here at Bink.nu.
