Microsoft has acquired a company that helps computer user access information.Microsoft did not say how much it is paying for FolderShare, which is owned by Austin, Texas, based ByteTaxi.

The FolderShare service allows customers to access files through a Web browser -- easier than sending large files by e-mail or burning and mailing CDs.

At the least, I guess MS is looking to leverage this tech to provide a similar service for Windows users.  Vista maybe?
