Hi All,

I have a problem here with my windows 2000 server, I was trying to play my IIS(all web pages stored in IIS) but it prompt me that "The Service did not respond to the start or control request is a timely fashion" well actually i don't understand what does it mean anyways it always prompted me that error when i try to play the IIS.

What guys do you think the error im having and BTW the IP setting of this "file server" is DHCP format.

First check if you have some firewall running thats blocking IIS. If thats not the case try the things listed here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319133
