    Tanx for the link.  It fixed my double problem of no indication of active or minimized programs on the Taskbar.  Great fix !!!!!

    What a site ! I google the word "Minimized windows disappear" and by that i dabbled into this wonderful site.

    Prior to this, i had releaded my new laptop twice in just one week because of this disgusting issue.

    Consequently i've been able to solve this problem after downloading and installing this very tiny (as the Remi called it) but mighty program.

    Click on Start Button and then write recent or temp the press enter key you will see all files who opened recently.
