    NIC Problem

    Network Card: D-Link DGE-530T
    OS: Windows 2000 Pro SP4

I have installed the drivers, tried to add it though add/remove hardware.

It lists in in hardware with a yellow/black exclamation mark and doesnt seem to know where the card is.

The card is installed properly just recently installed Windows 2000, worked fine before the 2k install.

I did install the drivers from the dvd that came with the nic.

    Any help appreciated,

     Welcome to the forums.

In the device manager, the yellow ! will have a error code number associated with it.  That will help you determine the actual problem.   Double click the device, and post back the code.

More than likely, it could be a bad PCI slot..
