A user has started a thread on how to remove the 180 day timebomb from the Windows Server 2003 trial. I have deleted this thread.

I feel I should remind all of you that this type of activity - no matter if "you actually own a site licence but can't get it from your 'boss'" - is illegal, and strictly prohibited from this forum.

Here is the message I sent this user, and I feel that it should be on display for everyone to read:

"Please do not ask to illegally acquire full-version products. The security features placed on Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 are there for a reason. They protect us - the people who buy the software from ultra-high prices.

Microsoft put out really good products - buy a copy and pay for their hard work."
